Our Goal Is To Match Great Guitar Players With Great Guitars We Do That With The Unsurpassed Quality Of Furch/Stonebridge Guitars . . . Simply The Best In Tone, Playability, And Build!  In 2012 I was searching for a good guitar for finger style playing. I ran across a video clip on Youtube of a young man playing a Stonebridge guitar. Something about that video made me play it a couple more times. The sound of that Stonebridge guitar was really beautiful and the player seemed to be playing effortlessly. I thought well, let me do a little research on these guitars. I listened to a few more videos and learned more about the guitars through the Stonebridge International website. I've never been one to purchase a guitar sight unseen but I could not find a local dealer who carried Stonebridge so I made the decision to order a model G-23cr. WOW, was I pleasantly surprised when I opened the case and saw the guitar, it was absolutely beautiful with the build perfection on the highest level. I strummed a few chords and ran up and down the neck with a few finger style patterns. It played so easy and the tone was truly the best I've ever heard for a grand auditorium style guitar. I ordered the guitar with a Mi-Si pick-up system. So I plugged in and listened to what I would describe as the nearest sound to a grand piano. . . full and rich with sustain that went on for what seemed like forever. Listen to Roger Schmidt demonstrate this beautiful Furch G24LK C THE STONEBRIDGE STORY  Frantisek Furch has been building acoustic guitars in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) since 1981. Growing up under a Communist government where American music was frowned upon, Furch and a large group of the youth at the time fell in love with the charms of our culture's music, especially Bluegrass and the acoustic folk-based types. they hid their passion from authority and met and played late at night around campfires or deep in the woods, far from the ears of authorities. . . .
