Customer Reviews Lynn, My G22CM just gets better in tone as the months go by. I'm trying to sell a couple of guitars from my collection so I can purchase a Furch G23 or G24 with custom tone woods. Thanks for your great service in helping me find my Stonebridge C22. Kim Stonebridge G23 CW personal endorsement I recently purchased a Stonebridge G23 CW from Lynn Morgan Studios in October, 2016. Lynn was great to work with - no hard sell tactics, the pricing was straightforward, and he seemed genuinely concerned about finding the best Furch / Stonebridge guitar suitable to my style of playing. We would communicate via personal emails which were conversational in tone: again, no hard-sell push, empty guarantees, or car-lot financial finagling - just honest, down-to-earth discussion about the guitar and its builder. Having purchased guitars online in the past, I found this approach unusual but refreshing. The guitar itself is aesthetically beautiful - Walnut back and sides with prominent wood grain patterns and a mocha brown Cedar top. I like the transparent pick guard as it doesn't interrupt the warm visual appearance of the face of the guitar. I've been playing for 40+ years and have owned several high end guitars. To be fair, most have lived up to their hype acoustically, but I always questioned the price point. The Stonebridge is very affordable and probably leaves most owners with a feeling that they got away with something. After lowering the action (Stonebridge intentionally ships guitars in the high action range to enable the customer to adjust down to his or her level of playing comfort) and fitting it with a new set of light gauge strings, I find the tone and playability of the guitar exceptional -- as good or better than guitars twice its price. This is a guitar I will play for the rest of my life and then pass down through the family for the rest of its life which, based on its meticulous construction, will be a very long time. I thank Stonebridge for their craftsmanship and Lynn Morgan for his guidance in fitting me with a superior instrument. Danny Porter
